BATH

We ended our four day trip with a day in BATH. Oh how I love Bath. You have to say it with a British accent, because if you just say "bath" like an American it just sounds lame. But "BAWHH-TH" sounds like the posh little gem that it is.

We walked around and observed the architectural wonders. We learned about the history of the city's modern, posh days during the Regency. We toured the Roman baths and *soaked up* the history (haaa).

But when it came to free time, I just shopped my girlie little heart out all afternoon, because that is what Bath was created for.

hey mom: this used to be Nicholas Cage's apartment. You're welcome.
THE PUMP ROOM. Jane Austen thing...

So I drank some BATH water! Apparently its supposed to make you stunningly beautiful and healthy forever, soo.... don't be shocked next time you see me and I sparkle.

Tintagel Castle

On Friday, we left Newquay and drove to Tintagel, where we disembarked the coach and hiked up what felt like MILLIONS of steps to get to the ruins of an ancient castle! Legend says this was where King Arthur once lived...... kind of cool? I feel like someone one day just said, "Hey, let's claim this to be King Arthur's castle!" and everyone else was like, "Eh, sounds good!"

Either way, it was gorgeous. How many breath-taking cliff -over- the- blue- ocean views can a girl take in in a week? Many, it seems.

**Before you proceed to pictures, let me explain that somehow, when you are on a cliff overlooking the most spectacular beauty you've ever seen, suddenly you turn into a total poser and try to be artsy. This is a scientific fact, it happened to every person in our group. Now you know why I look so dramatic in these pictures. Proceed.

Lands End & St. Micheal's Mount

On Thursday, we went to Lands End, the furthest south point in England.... we got to do some hiking and sight-seeing. It was GORGEOUS.

Can't even describe. Straight to pics.

Later that day, we got to visit Tintagel Castle, which is...... *pause for effect* a CASTLE ON AN ISLAND. Real life fairytale y'all!

It was even worth the frightening boat ride out there and the cardio climb up the mountain. That's saying something.
